It's not a sign of weakness to seek help from anyone.  That's true unless, as an adult, you're always needing help and not learning from the advice you're being given.

That is what parents are there for! They/we don't stop being a parent just because a child turns 18.

Unless your parents are drooling morons . . Then you might want to figure it out on your own.

No way! I am 15 and I always go to my mom when I need help. Nor is crying considered a weakness since I see so many people being 'proud' of not being able to shed a tear; when really being able to cry to a person or ask for help is such a beautiful thing when you really can have that contact with your parent in doing so. So you shouldn't feel or take it as a weakness. :)

Of course not ..  Believe it or not, even parents can have some good advise.  Advise is advise no matter where it comes from .. You still need to use common sense when choosing to act on it, or choose not to.
