I don't have to share the remote control, I can eat dinner in my recliner at 10PM if I want to, I can flush the toilet without worrying if someone is taking a shower, come and go as I please, groceries for one is a lot cheaper, I can eat ice cream right out of the container, same thing with milk and orange juice...

If I had to narrow it down to one thing I am the most thankful for about being single, it's that nobody tries to get me to spend an entire day clothes shopping with them until I am ready to scream and break down blubbering in public from an overwhelming tidal wave of mind-numbing boredom.

The freedom to do what I please and not having anyone breathing down my neck. Who are you talking to, where are you going, how long are you going to be there, whose going to be with you. I love my freedom and independence for sure.

My marriage of 25 years ended last summer. While I admit that I'm still sort of feeling like I'm floating on a raft in the middle of the ocean, not being married is actually WONDERFUL!!!!!

I married a girl that had a previous kid when that kid became a teenager she told me im not her father and she is not doing anything i say. Well that and other things ended that marriage.
