They do have venom but they are actually very good at eating other insects that live in your home. But, considering that probably doesnt make you feel better: they like wet/humid areas like basements and possibly will live in the bathroom to gain water from the sink and bath ect.

They are probably gone now, but that is what Ive read on them. They came 2 years now and then left. This year I managed to keep them down to a minimum in my room. EVIL.

I have so many temptations, feeling the need to have the last word in an argument is the one temptation I really want to get over and I'm working on.  

The temptation of chocolate, treating myself to dinners out with friends and a glass of red wine( or 4) are temptations  I'm gonna keep giving into :) because I wanna!

I must have been, Didge! I always have access to a book. One in my purse; one in the car; one at home. Can't get away from them! Unfortunately, my son did not inherit this addiction.
