You know ? I think it's almost an every day thing as what makes me proud is the fact that quite possibly I've helped someone on here and made life a little easier for them. Being able to help makes me proud every day.
The latest thing? I was in rural Sierra Leone for a month setting up a clinic and school for the children. I put up computers with educational software that builds their foundation in key areas of mathematics, chemistry, and physics. There's a workshop with all the tools and basic materials they may need. As soon as everything is situated we're planning on bringing over a 3D printer. The "Wow" moment was just seeing the children engaged in learning and thirsting for more. Something I hardly see outside of my own surrounding communities in the United States. I took the time to know every single child there and I see great potential. My friends and I are setting up a network for them to interact with Alumni and students from our alma maters furthering their future prospect if they ever want to study abroad. The main goal we wished to instill into every single one of those children was for them to invent things everyday that would benefit their community.
The country looked a whole lot better than the last time I was there. The people were still as friendly as ever though.
One thing I learn is that it's lazy to just throw money at things, the real beauty comes from setting your own foot on the floor. During that time my spouse was on a trip with Doctors Without Borders, so I had to outdo them somewhat. =)
I agree with Rooster but my biggest thing was when I gave 6.5 million USD to a Childrens Hospital to build a surgical and rehab wing they so badly needed and donated it anonymously and never regreted it

I feel proud through my children. Each one has made me proud for something in the last month!!!! :0)
