Personally...no, I just think that's a shallow reason to like someone.... However, there is something to be said about being up front and telling someone that in the beginning.
Would you ever date someone who told you they liked looks and that's what makes them attracted to people? Do you think it's possible for them to like you for something else as they get to know you?
Everyone can change. It's just a matter of if they want to or not. As Angela stated, it's a shallow way of looking at dating, but you have to give them kudos for voicing their stupidity.
If you decide to date that person, and you become so charming that they are enamored by your charm instead of your looks, then kudos for you that you helped them become less shallow.
I wouldn't, if somebody only liked people for their looks then that would be an incredibly stupid person. I wouldn't attempt to change that, either, 'changing' somebody is really only in fictional works.
