What's the worst advice you've ever received?

To get a life and "Suck it up Steven", from my Dad.

Putting off getting a needle aspiration on a lump on my dog. Twice. (Different vets, different dogs.) Both lumps turnout to be cancerous. Both ended up being fine in the long run, but the size of their incisions would have been much smaller if I went with my gut to begin with.

Some guy told me that girls liked dominant guys who can rough them up, yell at them, all that, because it makes them feel special....

for the sake of my well being I'm  not gonna try that

Date many girls at once and don't let them find out. Came from my uncle... I'm not too fond of him

Point your skis straight down the hill.  Envision the Lodge at the bottom and soon you will be there.  If you hit a bump, keep those skiis pointing toward the lodge.  If you are afraid, close your eyes and go to a happy place.

I don't excel in downhill skiing to this day because of this wee amount of information given to me when I was 6 years old.
