I would say yes it is better. Negative people will bring you down and quick.

I would rather be alone than be around negative people. I don't need or want that much negativity in my life. I have changed jobs because of working with too many negative people.

I'd rather be alone than around negative people. Negativity is contagious! It spreads like wildfire and it leads to nowhere good.

Without A doubt. Negatives would destroy us easily.

"You can't expect  positive things happens to you if you surrounded yourself with negative people"

"Whatever we focus on will grow, Focus on problems & negativity, & your challenges will increase, Focus on appreciation & possibilities & new doors of opportunity will open"

Surely negative people will direct us to focus on negativity, However we be strong with controlling our mind, One slip, It would create the first stress. As the stress continues. We'll fail at what we doing.

However we might have the chance to change the negative person toward first steps of being positive but that would need A lot of risk & effort. I'd try making someone positive, If it don't happen,I'd rather remove them or at least block them from sending negatives toward me by anyway i can.

Anyway... Always being alone is better than bad company.

It depends really. The most important thing is your own optimism. Being around positive people makes you feel great. If you're lacking in self confidence this is a good thing. However if you don't lack self confidence, sometimes being around negative people will help you improve. There are many people out there that may seem critical or negative of you, but in their own view they're trying to help you in their own way.

For instance, someone telling you to go exercise and watch what you eat is trying to help you be healthy. However people with low self-esteem will take this as an insult. Will they then listen to the advice? Nope.
