I am all of them, wife, girlfriend, and friend. I am married, and have been for 18 years. If you want to stay married, you have to do the date night and girlfriend/boyfriend thing. You go out and talk to each other about anything but the day to day stuff. You wouldn't talk about the cable bill or whose turn it is to do the dishes with your boyfriend, so on date night you don't talk to your husband about it. Also you should marry your best friend.
