Maybe it's something with the new generation but I would lay good money down to say that 99% of women would not allow that and good men would want to provide for his lady any way he can. Lot's of families have both man and lady working to make ends meet. A man who just does nothing and lives off a woman is just a lazy bloodsucker with no morals.
