Yes, relationships do come out of Tinder. Increasingly so. The question is, what kind of relationships are they?
Because, although the app might be able to help you discover people in your local area, the real value of the app would be to facilitate an actually REAL LIFE relationship.
After trialling the app, I think it's safe to say there are four types of relationships that come out of Tinder:
Hook ups
This is the thing that puts people off, right? Tinder is used for hook ups - it's bound to be, but most people seem to be looking for something more lasting.
Brief flings
A summer romance, a few months of dating, a bit of fun... There are people out there enjoying such relationships and many of them will have their foundations in Tinder. Maybe you should give it a go?
Longterm relationships
Lots and lots of longterm relationships began online, many of the through tinder. Ask about. If you don't have friends in this position, you're likely to have friends of friends, or friends of family.
Marriages
Yes! People who met on Tinder sometimes get married! It's the law of probability - if enough people are meeting using the app and falling in love, some will get married. There's always hope!
