It really depends on your definition of successful.
If having lots of money is what you deem to be a sign of success in life, then perhaps one way you could achieve that is by picking a skill that is in high demand, learning as much as you can about it, earning a qualification and then entering the job market looking for a job in that industry.
The other thing to remember is that life goals chance. Even if you manage to achieve your wildest dreams, there's a good chance there'll still be something out there that you'll want even more.
So in that sense, true success is being able to find the joy within your everyday life.
