Find a bit out about the place you are living, find out how the people are and how they are as a community, it will give you a better insight into the place you are living if you did a bit of research into what makes that place the way it is. You might need take some language classes if its a new country, but to fit in you must know a little about the locals and try not make yourself feel out of place
