Autosomes are the first 22 chromosomes and the sex chromosomes are the 23rd pair

Autosomes are common in males and females of same species while sex chromosomes are different in them.

The 22 autosomal chromosomes in man are matched chromosomes but the sex chromosomes in man X(female ) and Y(male) are an unmatched,pair ,  the X being larger that the Y  ,with the loss of a short "arm"

In humans Three are 2 types of chromosomes..one the sex chromosomes which determine the sex of the person either male or female...i.e X and Y while the autosomal chromosome are all the other chromosomes except the sex chromosomes.
