I think everybody probably receives criticism just about the same way.
But what makes all the difference in the world is what the individual does with it.
Do they shut down and get bitter, or do they try and see what the person is getting at, and use it to improve themselves.
I can't say how to become better at taking criticism, because honestly there are many people whose opinions mean nothing to me, so anything they say would just fall on deaf ears. But if it is someone who I value their opinion, I would gladly take it under consideration.
