This is a natural phenomena that people accept or like those ideas and people who confirm to their own sets of beliefs. People who have similar views then start forming social groups and work groups. This assumption mostly holds true in all cases but sometimes it happens that people start accepting others who are quite different than themselves. One such example is multinational organizations. MNCs accept employees with different cultural backgrounds and employees are trained to accept each others diversity. It is good to accept diversity but unfortunately people in daily lives do not accept diversity to that much extent the way they should accept.
