Some of these are stupid... my dad wouldn't come back down stairs. And he would get mad for putting music on in the morning.

You could just fake the time (maybe say it's 4pm, and he'll probably wake up!)
Fall Down and pretend that you're hurt and he will kiss it better and it will make him wake up :)
When I was a kid, I used to wake him up with a kiss on his cheek, being his pet child he used to wake up smiling loll.
Tell someone esle to do it so he doesnt get mad at you he gets mad at that other person lolthats what I do :)
You can Open alarm with light music to wake him up.
You can tell him someone is at the door and he will come down staris and he wont go back up
