What has happened to society here? We seem to be turning back into Victorian times when it was a scandal if a women showed her ankle. It's about wearing clothing in the water. Would you wear baggy shorts to take a bath? Why do men have to wear shorts down to their knees to swim in the ocean or a lake? Who wants to sink wearing all that fabric or get chapped from waiting hours for your clothing to dry when you get out of the water. I always think it looks stupid to see a woman wearing a super tiny bikini, but in order for her boyfriend to be macho he has to wear baggy shorts down to his knees. We had nude swimming in our public junior and senior high school for p.e. Class for boys. I always thought when I wore a Speedo for the swim team that I was wearing enough. Europeans have a much more relaxed attitude towards their bodies. We used to be able to wear short jogging shorts out in public in the 80's--even Tom Selleck did on Magnum, P.I. Now it's all about baggy boxers and saggy pants--wear your Speedo and let it be someone else's problem.
