You can't tell from that.  If he received a 90 in all classes but one, where he got a 91, then his GPA would be 4.0.  If half of his classes were high "B"s and the rest "A"s he would have a 3.5 and, of course, if he had 89's in all of his classes but one where he scored at or near 100, he would have a GPA in the low 3's.

You really need to find what he scored in each class to figure his GPA correctly.
