You can try edible arrangements. These are like flower arrangements but made with fruit. Everything is on a stick, so it's easy for guests to eat. I prefer things on sticks simply because it's cleaner on the fingers.
Savory foods: Swedish meatballs, pigs in a blanket, mini-kieche crab puffs, lobster balls, anything wrapped in phylo pastry.
Sweet foods: Fruit skewers, cream puffs, mini-tarts, lady fingers, palmiers, chocolate cups with filling, macaroons, meringues.
These are easy and elegant without being fussy.

Nice trays of all kinds of fresh fruits, strawberrys kiwi, mango, grapes. Also a nice cheese and cut up sausage station would be nice with assorted crackers.Shrimp platters are always very good too.You could also set up a small dessert station.

You can do tuna finger sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, pepperoni and cheese platter, cut a watermelon out and put fruit in it, depending on how many people you are expecting and how much money you are wanting to spend.  Good Luck.
