This world is a mixture of different sorts of people with different behaviors and different attitudes towards life. Some people are hard working while some are lazy and they don't like to work much. In the same way some people are intelligent and they visualize things in advance and they are able to cope up the changes and requirements well in time and save themselves from many troubles. Your question that does people with intelligent mind lead a happy life can be narrated in the following way.

Intelligent people usually forecast things well before time and they save themselves from many hardships and troubles. They have got the sense to manipulate matters in a proper way and they get maximum benefits from it. Due to intelligence they earn lot of money as well as fame in their life and they lead a life full of luxury and comforts. But sometimes their intelligence causes a rift between them and their family because their family is unable to realize the problems as they do and they don't cooperate with that particular person. Apart from all this we can conclude that people with intelligent mind lead a happy life because they know how to master things and problems.

Nope, balance is a more important factor. You can be extremely intelligent but if you do not have a balanced mind and body you will not be happy. For example William James Sidis reached the highest IQ in history. He was tortured relentlessly and at age 5 he could already speak 5 languages. AT age 9 he was able to pass entrance exams at Harvard. Yet he was not happy..he searched for the perfect life and did not find it. He went on to live the life of a low-paid book keeper....he died at a young age from cerebral damage...his dad said,"too much thinking can harm your brain, too." He also died from the same thing. Actually if you are dumber you will be more happier because you think less and you know less and your imagination is less so you don't have to beat yourself up imagining about things you don't need to worry about.... Blah blah....

I do agree with the first answer. People that are intelligent use up their brain muscles a lot and  they don't get time for themselves or things that they wish to do and yet again it depends on what god wrote in your palm, you might be dumb but later on in life you mite be a millionaire or maybe your a mega super intelligent person and your life takes a turn and you become somebody with a low paying job. So not necessarily.

I think we are all intelligent in our own way but depends how I manage da situation because everybody comes 4rm different backgrounds and experience. That is up to us to demonstrate da world our different abilitys and intellectual minds. We can overcome all mistakes if we stick to a positive environement. I have a good sense of life but I'm not very cocky. What I know and do, it is bcus of goodwill and a sense of life to overcome all adversity.  My purpose in life is to be da truth and stand up to what I believe to b correct. I accept everybodys different views. I'm just grateful for life and try to find ways to be da best in life.

I would say that not always a person who has an intelligent mind can lead a happy life. What it actually matters is the aim of people on what they are eager to learn in.

I actually attended to a seminar today in a school and there was this instructor that said that just because your friends went into one class doesn't mean that you have to be in that same class. Also he added about what if that friend got shifted to another class? You can't just quit the class and be like "What am I going to do without my friend?"

Even a person who is poverty and isn't instructed well, except for only doing household chores, grows up and becomes a fine person. They start up as a beginner, but then they start to take the aim that they can also succeed just like others because nobody is different. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, beautiful or ugly. You just have to ignore all those harassment comments that people are giving to you, and just move on in life. Furthermore, people should take independent choices.

What I am trying to say is that no matter how smart you are or if you are novice, you can do what you do without failing, if you just have that aim in yourself. Also, everybody in this world is equal. No one should think themselves as being the top ranked person because no one isn't. There is a specific talent for everybody.

I believe the most intelligent people are mentally insane.  Not too sure of them being leading Happy Life's that is something i got think over ?

I think at some level happiness is a choice. You either see the glass as half full or you see it as half empty and that choice has nothing to do with intelligence.
