Apart from the obvious...infidelity, there is the financial lie/secret. I know of men who get raises and do not tell their wives and then put the extra into a separate unknown account for their own personal use. The same men have gotten bonus checks and never told their wives about it. There are men that I know that have actually gone so far as to purchase property and not tell their wives because they did not want to deal with her knowing he had spent money on a piece of lake property which she had seen and said no on. There are men (and women for that matter) who make purchases and tell their spouse that the purchase price was much smaller than it actually was. I think the financial lie/secret is one failing used by both men and women.
