Difference between our generation is that the parents think about life that they had in their old times. They don't understand the wants of the children and the needs of the children like having fun with children outside. They don't like it if the children go to parties in the night like all the other boys like to, which affects the degree of socializing. They like to do things their way and only want their children to increase their quality of education and read instead of improving socialization skills.

The largest difference between my parents (especially my mom) and I is how we view socializing. When my mom was growing up, going to parties was absolutely fine...while not completely safe, the parties she went to could not even come close to comparing to the parties I have seen. Now, maybe it is just where I grew up, but parties were disgusting and EXTREMELY dangerous. My mom encouraged me to "go out more" in high school and didn't understand why I refused. I guess she never will.
