I write when they are asleep. IF my husband and I go out without at least one of the kids, it's on a date.
As a parent time away from the kids is important what do you do on the days you have to your self and/or how do you unwind when the kids go to sleep?
We had five kids so it was pretty full on. Once the older ones were able to look after the smaller, we took the dog for a walk every night. That was our time to talk.
