Yes, very much so.
Absolutely. We've been married for 27 years, and he still gives me butterflies when I look at him.
I sure do ! I've always believed in that !
I use to before I got my heart ripped out.
I thought i had a soulmate but no more i trust only kitty
Yes.
Absobloodylutely. I've been with Mrs Didge since 1958 and we're probably closer now than ever. In old age there's more time to appreciate each other and less outside stress.
What we fancifully describe as being "soul mates" is no more than two people sharing their lives, growing together, finding happiness in each other. It's very real but, as my Dark friend pointed out beneath Tom's answer, it ain't really Destiny: It's commitment.
Even the Bible got it right and Mark 10:7-8 says, "For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother; and they twain shall become one flesh." I think that can be almost literally true. Certainly they can become one mind.
Dear Sharpe Halifax,
I think your answer is YES...certainly in the sense of commitment (Didge) and complementarity two voices in harmony (DarkFriend)...
But I also think there is an aspect of MYSTERY...what Dear DarkMajinn, who is dear to me and I respect very much, what he calls supernatural magic, I say YES to that magic, but maybe more in the sense of dimensions of human relationship not yet discovered or understood.

I hope The Zee and KB Baldwin too, find this Q and leave their voice!
Yes, I absolutely do.
I think so, yes. But it doesn't happen very often and sometimes, it never does.
Yes, but there's more than one who can become that for you.
No.
In as much as I do not believe in Supernatural "Magic" . . .
I believe we find whom we find based on what might be missing in us. If a relationship is healthy, we are like two voices . . . Both distinct in nature yet able to harmonize over time to be both in sync and in tune as to compliment each other.
It will be 28 wonderful years this October 29th . . . And I HAVE enjoyed the music and "We make beautiful music together."
no.
