What advice would you give to a person who is just graduating high school?

I agree completely with the above commenter! I made the mistake of rushing into college to study for something I didn't even really wanna do. Take some time to decide what you want, even if it means a couple years off of school. When I graduated I had no idea three years later that I would wanna go to school for a nurse.

Also, after high school you learn who your true friends are and lose quite a few people you thought were your true friends. But you learn you don't need a lot of friends to be happy! I literally have my dog and boyfriend as my best friends haha! Everyone else is just people I say hi to when I see them around

If you just aren't ready for college, do something else for a while.  After one disasterous semester of college (15.5 units with a 1.0 GPA) I went on activbe duty with the Navy.  One of the best decisions I ever made.  When I got out, I was ready for college and had grown uyp immeasurably.

Be fearless in your life  choices cos you're probably  not gonna have that luxury in 15 years ... Also mind your credit score and get a financial advisor before you're 23. All this worked for me anyway.
