I'll rock you to sleep. Now, let me find a big rock.
Rock-a-bye Otis, in the tree top,
Drank too much shine, didn't know when to stop;
If he keeps drinking, Otis will fall,
And down will come Otis and moonshine and all.
Cheer up, Otis. It's 6.00 am tomorrow in Australia so I can see your future. Thursday is certainly a better day than the one you're having.
I don't know any Lula bye songs but I can write you a poem !! Okay ? Okay.
Roses are red , violets are blue, go to sleep now , cos I said so.
BAM !
Dear Otis,
What I finally chose for you is one of the Chopin nocturnes - his exquisitely beautiful Opus 9, No. 2. Chopin wrote it around 1830, when he was only twenty.
Incidentally I am intrigued (and delighted) with how well this music holds up over time...the video on YouTube has well over 16 million hits...
How are you feeling today Otis? Did the lullaby's work? :0)
