Fabulous picture.

And, Tom, I once emailed Greely with a question and had a response in less than 30 minutes. He wrote some fabulous stuff (have you seen his "Why God Created Strawberries?") but he was very ill and I think he died a year or two back.

Yes, Didge, he was something else. I actually came across his professional writings in sociology and then found him even more interesting and delightful in his novels.

I haven't read all of them yet (of either genre) but I await the opportunity.

I'll make a special note about the "strawberries"---hadn't heard of it offhand.

Yes, his coat was caught in a taxi door and the taxi took off, slamming his head to the ground. I don't remember the exact details, but I think he hand on for a short period of time.

I really enjoy his take on just about everything he treats..

It's only a short read. I don't think they credited Fr Greeley on this site but it was taken from one (or more) of his novels. (I think he used it more than once.)

Nope. I grew up with two brothers and not many girls in my neighborhood, so I have always been more comfortable around guys.

Nah, I was practically raised by guys and I had an older brother, so i was always chasing around him and his friends. But now..they're chasing me around😉

Not in general.  I did sometimes get a case of the butterflies when waiting for my sweetheart to pick me up for a date.  (I remember it as a "nice nervous" feeling.)
