HELP! Why is agroup of geese isolating, attacking, and running after a lone goose? Why is the lone goose depressed? When the group flock flew away, the lone goose stayed behind. The group does not want him and I don't know why.

He was trying to goose all the females and they were tired of getting the short end of his stick.

The males gave him an old-fashion goose kicking and all flew away. He'll join them in a fortnight.

Who knows .. It's just their "pecking order".  You can't give human emotions and intentions to birds.
