Looks like it's going to be a nice day. It was a long and noisy night and I didn't get much sleep so I'm not too happy. Think I hugged my hound enough last night to last awhile. I'm glad 4th of July is over !

It is a HOT day today. By 9:30 it was already 90 degrees F (32 C) with a heat index of 102 F (39 C). I woke up and got moving before the heat got to be too much. (Weeding and watering were done by 9:00) I am not a morning person so happy comes a little later in the day. Hugs are always freely given in my home!

It's a hot, soggy, super humid, overcast day here. Great reasons to stay inside this afternoon. I haven't hugged a human today but I did get to hug two of the Pitbulls from next door. They both reciprocated by giving me a thorough face licking.

Today is going to be hot and humid - normal July weather for Nebraska. I haven't hugged anyone yet today; I'm not really happy as the fireworks in my neighborhood did not stop until midnight, so I'm feeling a bit tired.

The chaise / sofa piece that I picked out wouldn't fit through the door, so it had to be returned. The recliner did fit but now my colors are bizarre in my living room.

My son has moved out, still has some residual little stuff to pick up, but otherwise, he's all moved. He likes his new place - he's only 15 minutes from me, but it's still weird he isn't here.

I got hugged because I'm very cross today. I probably didn't deserve that hug, but it was done to calm me down. I'm hoping for a better day, and I'm happy the weather will FINALLY be mild for 7 days!!!! It's only going to be in the low 80's this week.

Of course I woke up "Happy!"  LOLOLOL!!!!

I'm especially happy to be able to blurt again!
