How to tell boyfriend I would like him to pay more for camping expenses. I pay camper insurance, repairs, camping fee, storage fees, he only pays 1/2 of camp site. He is very financially independent?
Tell him to to let the moths out of his wallet or he'll end up with mothballs,...and no woman wants to date a man with moth balls.
I'm torn on this because you're just girlfriend and boyfriend with a shared interest in camping.
In regards to the camper, is his name on the title or is it yours? Is the camper paid for or are you making payments on it? If you're still paying on the camper, that expense is yours alone.
In regards to the fees, etc., a conversation about this is in order.
If you guys truly share this interest and it's not you just dragging him along, then talk about the costs associated with camping out and work it out. If he is only going along because you like camping and he has no particular feeling one way or another about it, stop taking him. Camp by yourself or with others that share this passion.
Learn to work through a difficulty by communicating - that skill will truly serve you well through life.
