How should I convince my close friend to become a born again Christian?
It depends on the person and if they are even slightly open to it. If they are adamantly oppose to religion, it isn't going to happen.
If you want to keep your friend, leave him alone. No one, and I mean no one, appreciates being constantly hounded by a bible thumper. If he is going to come to Jesus, he will on his own.
