You don't walk up to someone and tell them you like and you most certainly don't tell them you love them. You say hello and talk small talk. Then you tell them you would like to get to know them better and ask them to go for coffee or something. Then you talk some more and get to know them better. THEN you decide if you LIKE them. Then you get to know them better and then decide if you love them.
