I like to embrace the idea myself, pooping is indeed my favorite time of the day! :)
Why are people embarrassed about poop? I mean, we all do it.
No clue. I'm usually honest about that stuff but I have a brother who walks in on me in the bathroom, no matter what's going on. It's not embarrassing, really.
I have 5 sisters and no brothers, privacy doesn't exist in my house lol but we do get some from time to time. The fact that people can't admit to it is dumb xD... It's not really anything to fret about.
For the same reasons animals bury theirs.... We hide and flush. Its hard wired.
