Okay I don't know WHY this happens but I do know that this happens MORE OFTEN THAN YOU THINK. Personally, this has never happened to me with a crush (it has happened to me with my ex when we were still dating) but it has happened to other people, including my dad (with his crush in high school and my mother before they married) and several of my friends, so it's not like it's unheard of. It doesn't mean that you're crazy or anything like that. But from my observations and from what my dad had told me, this happens when you truly like someone A LOT. You like the person so much that your brain does weird things to you like causing you to find it hard to imagine your crush's face. I don't know how to cure it or any real facts about it. All I know is that it happens, it's pretty normal, and it just shows that you really like this person. Hope this kinda helps!
