Was Reeva Steenkamp's skull crushed?

According to prosecutors that are cross-examining Reeva Steenkamp's alleged killer, Oscar Pistorius, her skull exploded "like a watermelon".

They were referring to a trip to a shooting range that Oscar Pistorius had made as part of his hobby of using forearms.

The images of him enjoying this "sporting event" were shown in court:

The watermelons he was using as target practice that day were compared to the skull of Reeva Steenkamp after a bullet fired from his gun exploded in her head.
