Well I can't say that they are always correct but usually yes when it comes to getting to know them in person. Through online, I'm not quite sure yet since I don't really interact with many people who I just solely met online. But when I'm in person with someone, my first impression of them tends to be pretty accurate to the type of person they might be and to whether I like them or not. There are of course a few exceptions, but generally I read people pretty well when talking face to face.

no not really , its usually hard to see what a person is really like just by looking at them or talking to the for the first time . Pretend you were new at school and you were trying to find friends you will probably be more polite and considerate of what you say , shy even and people don't see you as who you are till you finally know them better and they get to know you better because people are different when you first meet them then they are when you become close friends with them.

Also sometimes due to friends or people , I may be biased in what I think of them , like a friend could completely hate her so then I would probably dislike her/him and not like her/him but then if I get to know him better than I would know the real 'him/her' , first impressions are hard to decipher as is that 'them'? Its a natural thing for humans to change behaviour at least a bit when meeting or talking to someone new , they could be confident and open but they still aren't exactly themselves I reckon , so I think sometimes my first impressions are right but sometimes they are wrong because I am biased .
