What would be a good hook sentence to start off my persuasive essay? My topic is as follows "What do teens need most?" I really can't come up with a good enough attention-grabber to keep my audience interested. Please help!

The answer to the question of "What do teens need most" changes drastically depending on who is answering. An older adult or elder would argue that teens need to be subdued and disciplined, for rebellion and noncompliance would not be tolerated. A more liberal adult might argue that teens need affection and guidance to put them on the proper path of education and success. Finally, teens themselves would argue that they need space, room to grow and experiment, less restrictions and independence to do as they please. Each of these perspectives has its flaws and advantages, and each would produce a certain kind of person, each with varying usefulness to society as a whole.

Tips from an AP Language student
-Never use first and second person
-Don't ignore flaws in your argument, conceding them makes your paper stronger
-End with your strongest point
