So you saw the baby at 7 weeks 3 days, now you don't see a baby.  That would be concerning if you are having symptoms.  Are you bleeding?  If you are then maybe you miscarried.  Did they do a transvaginal ultrasound?  This would be more accurate than the transabdominal ultrasound.  Hopefully you had your beta hcg taken, you can tell if it is going down that you may be having a miscarriage as well.  Just try to stay calm and remember that if this is happening that there was possibly a problem with the fetus and it's actually normal for the body to do this.  Take care of yourself.  Good luck getting to the doctor.

I'm 7 weeks and 3 days. When I had a ultra sound the dr. Couldn't find the fetus.  They checked my blood count and compared it to last week results and my numbers doubled almost tripled. The doctor couldnt understand why she didnt' see anything. What can be the problem?

The fetus detection is possible after 8 weeks through ultrasound. But in some ladies, it can be late. In your case, the ultrasound is telling gestational age of 5 weeks so, wait for 2 more weeks and then go for ultrasound. If again results are same then you might be the case of blighted ovum pregnancy in which pregnancy test is positive and sac is also present but no fetus.  This can be due to defect in sperms.

If you are in 7-8 weeks, try to wait for another 2-4weeks, there will be a high possibility that you can see the baby. I saw mine during my 9 weeks ultrasound. Also, try to drink lots of fluid before going to the ultrasound, it helps to give a clearer view of the uterus. Hope it helps!

Check your HCQ level after every 48 hours and make sure its not going down. The sign of a healthy baby is that you have a reading between 22000 to 28000! If its low than check your doctor!
