I would say at 9pm for a 16yrs old kid.

Not to judge your childrens curfews or anything, but I'm 13 and I have a curfew that is about quart to 9 or 10.. But then again I live in a very small down and there is only about 4-5 of us kids, and we are usally at a friends house so I guess we don't need such a restrain where I live..
