Ideally, a human body needs at least 8 hours of sound sleep. This is not entirely true, for an adult body, around 6 hours of sleep per day is enough to be on the run all day and maintain a healthy body. This does not mean that you spend hours in bed just lying down and not sleeping. However, it is always a good idea to go to bed early and wake up early in the morning. If one wakes up early in the morning, it helps you feel energized and the day seems long enough to finish what ever it is that you have to finish. As you follow this habit, a cycle will form, which will enable you to go to bed at a particular time every day and you will not face any problems waking up. I would say 11.00 in the night is a perfect time to sleep and 6 to wake up.
Elderly people should go to bed at 10.00pm and wake them up in the morning at 7.30am
What time should you really be going to bed at if your 10-12? A lot of children these days are staying up late and I wonder what is the usual time YOU! Would recommend.
I somewhat agree with Nyala however I must add that there are morning people and there are night people. The perfect bedtime for you might be 11:00 p.m. while for someone else it might be 9:00 p.m. or even 2:00 a.m.

Negar:I think ppl should sleep early but I have some problem I can't sleep good, I sleep at 5 am and I weak up at 9 am...plz help me to sleep better :(( and even in these 4 hrs I'm not sleeping good :(

I go to bed between 11:00 and 12:00 usually and get up at about 8:00. If there is a good movie on sometimes I might go to bed a little bit later.
