I suspect I will have to face it sometime in my life as it is losing a parent or my husband.

Yes. I have when my husband was diagnosed with cancer.
Btw, he's 5 years cancer free - a HUGE milestone!
Nope, because I would be dead . . . .
My worst fear is pretty much the plot to "Hand Maiden's Tale" where the religious make a move to over throw the government and take over enforcing their belief system on Everyone . . . Those who do not comply are put to death . . . So yeah, I'd be dead.
My biggest fear is ... Immortality.
So yeah, I guess I'd HAVE to face it.
I did when my daughter had leukemia.
She did come alive, after a few shocks.
