Jan, I went through something similar with my sister. When my grandmother died, I received a lot of her kitchen stuff, along with many photo albums. I was going to make copies for the rest of my siblings when I had the extra money.

My sister stayed with myself and my son for about 8 months. When she moved out, she had helped herself to several of those photo albums, along with some of my grandmother's kitchen stuff. I tried to forgive her for that. However, like you, I had a breaking point.

She moved back to Austin, Texas and eventually lost all of the contents in the storage locker she was renting which included all the items she took from my house. She didn't have the money for the storage locker so the contents were sold.

It is hard to forgive, especially when you sense no remorse for their actions. Does anyone in the family have copies of the photos that were lost?

I have no clue what your question is but from the answer above I can take a wild guess. I am probably the family member others had to get rid of! LOL! However I also had to draw a line. When I was asked to chose between said person and my husband, I chose my husband and never regretted my choice. So I have seen both sides of the coin. :0)

Hi, Yin, I understand. Some 2always want us to choose them over a husband. Good choice to choose your husband. I erase the question before I saw Danae's answer 😔. I didn't put it back because
1. I it was long and I couldn't remember all I said.
2. I was sleeping and took a nap.
3. As you see, I was so tired I messed up on Danae's name, I hope she's not too mad at me 😑.
Thank you for answering.
