Yep. I was "in love" with a young woman, and dated her for about 2 years. Then one day I met another young woman (my second wife) and I knew that the love for the first young lady was just lust.

This answer might be totally different had I ever taken the step of marriage, especially had children been involved; but my experience has actually been quite opposite...

Yep. I was with  guy for almost 5 years. I thought we were going to get married. He decided to sleep around instead.

On the upside, I became a stronger person and met someone who was a WHOLE LOT BETTER!
