Do you regret telling people certain private things?
I regret telling certain people some of my personal things. Over the years, I just got gun shy and keep most private things to myself.
Even before the internet existed, I never put anything out there than I didn't want to go public.
Fortunately, they were just typical embarassments of youth.
Sometimes.
Privates exist. And it's a very difficult choice to share them with others. One wrong judgement can hunt you back.
