It happened to me with my second wife. I didn't mind at all and was actually very pleased that she took the initiative.

I have to say I'm old fashioned when it comes to this. Personally, I love the romance in a marriage proposal....and I think that I'd rather have my fella propose to me as opposed to me proposing to him.....it just doesn't feel right to me.
