Nah. Mrs Didge gives me a day off from the kitchen and cooks me a nice meal, but every five years we spoil ourselves a little a splurge on something. Birthdays are a big deal when you're young -- they certainly were for me -- but when you get old they're a bit ho-hum.
I'm happy when people remember me.
I get excited for other people's birthdays. Mine are usually just my husband and I going out to dinner. Though this year I am a bit excited. The friend I have known the longest, since I was 3, has her birthday about a week after mine. We are going out together the weekend between our birthdays. We will drink a little too much, and we will laugh a little too loud, and we will have a designated driver.
It's one of the best times in each year. And I am very excited about it.
For others yes absolutely but for myself not for now! The point is i'm real busy with the things i need to achieve and i'm already stressful that i'm 21 now, i need to make my steps quicker but in the same time careful and i need to develop faster and faster before it's late. I already lost so much time years ago due reasons. Now i hate to see my 22nd birthday come closer because at least before i reach my next birthday i need be middle of my starting achievements.
But for others i'm always super excited and i love to be part of their special day and do something for them in order to make them happy and show my care.
For my own birthday? Yes.
