In a heartbeat ! I wouldn't think twice about it ! It's a man's job to protect the one he loves.
Would you ever sacrifice yourself for the one you love? Not necessarily a lover... Would you do it?

Of course without a second thought. The people I love & principles I believe in, from my love for my family,friends, . . & it's get wider. It's not always about "Lover" or maybe you count lover I don't know , but I would even sacrifice myself for a stranger as well, because I love them anyway. They are human being, my kind, & upon everything I would sacrifice myself for my country when it comes necessary to happen.
Good or bad, partiality is part of me. Years ago in a soccer match I broke my head to save the ball & stop it from being scored, now imagine what I would do for lives of my loved ones or human life in general. Anything that I could do, I'll put it on the line.
As a Vietnam Vet and ex US Federal Officer, I would die in a heartbeat to protect my family and any child or woman I see that needs help. I took an oath to President Nixon to do so but I have extensive training in Martial Arts to protect and hopefully save lives but also trained to take a life if necessary without hesitation
Much would depend on what you mean by 'sacrifice'. We all make sacrifices on a daily basis for the people we love. Sometimes, the biggest sacrifice might include STAYING alive so that we can continue to love and care for our family as a unit.
