I'm going to say anger is stronger. Although both can make you act irrationally, often times love has an expiration date and then you move on. But when you're angry you can carry that grudge for years. I'm not one of those people that believes when you say "I'm sorry" that you can always be forgiven. Not all things can be swept under the rug.

I think in the long run, love is. Anger can flair up and burn itself out. Love, true love anyway, goes on and will win out over anger in the long run. Anyone who has been married for good while can tell you there are times when you would like nothing more than to smack some sense into your spouse. You don't because you love them, or you don't want to go to jail. Whatever the reason that feeling will pass, and you will want nothing more than to hold them again.

I'd say hate. Love is an emotion that is usually only shared between a few people. But hate is infectious and can make entire populations react to something. Hate can shape the entire way a generation perceives their neighbors or "enemies". I wish it wasn't true, but hate is the easiest and most active emotion that a society can create.

Of course their are people who combat this emotion such as Gandhi and Caesar Chavez, but with every conflict comes more waves of bigotry. Wow I just realized how cynical this answer sounds /:

It depends on the intensity of love and anger.

People will do all sorts of things just to get attention and love from the person they're thinking about. This can include very risky behavior, too. Maybe drugs and illegal crime could be involved.

Same thing with anger, because some people can't control their anger, and they might get so furious that they'll start throwing things, destroying objects, maybe even get the urge to KILL somebody just from pure hatred.

When things go completely wrong, both love and anger have an equal amount of a chance to cause something disastrous. Not only to the victim, but to society as well. And this could mean driving a car into a building causing collateral property damage and possible injury of a few people.
