If it really is that important to not show them certain things then no you don't have to. I think they probably just don't understand that though, and it probably hurts their feelings that they can't the pictures. If you have the pictures on your phone or computer then you should be able to edit out personal info. If they are printed then you can mark out stuff with a marker or cut it off with scissors.

No you don't have to do anything that you don't want to. You can try to explain how you feel to them, that it's too personal to you and hope that they understand.
