Can both A positive parents (one of which is rhesus positive) have an O positive child?

Of course they can. If both parents had an A marker and O marker in their blood (meaning they got the A from one parent and the O from another), their phenotype would both be type A since O is recessive. But when they have children together, there is a 25% chance that both the O marker from each parent would pair up, possibly resulting in a child having type O blood.

The cross would probably have to be ---- AO X AO-- for that 1/4 probability..

Also rhesus +/- markers mean nothing here but these people always think them important anyway.

PS: Why are you and Mike J getting all the good questions and I am getting the nothing questions?

That's what I said. Or at least that's what I think I meant. If it didn't come out that way then whoops. And you'er right, rhesus doesn't really matter in this one.

I'm not sure if you'd consider that the questions I answer are good. I've been getting mostly "bad" ones as well. I just keep looking until I find one what I like or that I think I can answer.

As to your answer, it was just fine.

As to the rest of it. Really?!?

I must now consider the you and Mike J are in a conspiracy to corral all the semi-rigorous questions and shut me out!!
